What does it cost for 5 hours?

Our packages are based on 5 hours of unlimited photos. The price listed with each package applies for that duration — about the length of an average party. Want the photo booth longer? We charge a fair surcharge per extra hour.

How are the photos stored and secured?

Photos are stored locally on the booth's computer and, if connected to the internet, also directly in the cloud. Both the booth and the cloud are secured.

What are the costs for extras (backdrops, props, etc.)?

There are no hidden costs. Extras like a prop chest or backdrop are only charged when you add them to your booking.

How long does Flitsmoment keep the photos?

No, unless agreed otherwise. We do ask that payment is settled before the event date. That can be via your personal portal (iDEAL/WERO) or, for businesses, by invoice paid to our bank account.

Can I book directly via the website?

No — through the website you request a quote. We send it within 24 hours, and once you accept it we move the booking into our booking system.

Once you've accepted the quote, you'll get an automatic email from our booking system with a link to your personal portal.

What are the cancellation terms?

Cancel up to 6 weeks before the event: free. Between 6 and 4 weeks: 50% due. Between 4 and 2 weeks: 75% due. Within 2 weeks: 100% due. You can move the date free of charge up to 1 week before the event.

How far in advance can I cancel free of charge?

Up to 6 weeks before the event there are no cancellation fees. After that we've already locked in our planning and assigned staff.

For cancellations or any other refund reason, we transfer the amount back to the account the booking was paid from within a week.

We usually make sure the photo booth is set up at least 1 hour before your event starts. The exact delivery moment we always plan together with you.

Do you deliver outside The Hague and Utrecht?

Yes — we also serve many locations outside Utrecht and The Hague. Beyond 20 km we charge a per-kilometre fee. If you're far outside our range, we'd ask you to check other rental companies — environmentally we don't think it's responsible to drive to the other end of the country when there are local providers there.

What are the delivery costs?

Within Utrecht and The Hague delivery is free. Surrounding villages usually fall within the free zone too. Beyond 20 km we charge per kilometre.

Can we check the setup timing (for photos before the event)?

Yes — you get your own portal with our delivery and pickup times. The strip-design proposal lives there too.

Does the venue need to be prepared, or do you handle everything?

The venue doesn't need to do anything to prepare. We look for the best spot when we deliver, and most event and wedding venues already have a fixed photo-booth spot.

How much space does the photo booth need?

Allow for a 2x2m area to comfortably fit several people in frame. The booth itself only takes up 1x1m, so it works well in small rooms or hallways. If you've booked a backdrop, count on 230cm ceiling height.

What camera do you use?

Our photo booths use a Canon mirrorless camera. The quality lens means the booth performs well in low-light evening settings and delivers high-quality photos.

Do you need WiFi, or do you bring your own connection?

The photo booth needs WiFi to send emails and generate QR codes. It works without WiFi too — only the direct QR-code download won't work. Emails are queued and sent as soon as the booth reconnects to our office WiFi.

How many guests can use the photo booth at once?

That depends on the space. With a tight setup (1–1.5m distance) you can fit 4 people. With more distance (2–3m) you can fit 10, and you can even capture a full room of 100 if you've got the space.

Yes, multi-day rental is possible. We offer an attractive discount for that.

Can the photo booth be used outdoors?

Yes, as long as it stays dry (under a canopy, for example) and no rain is expected. If we collect it the next day, it needs to be packed away and stored inside overnight.

How reliable is the technology?

Very reliable. We only use new equipment from leading brands, and since we built the booths ourselves we know them inside out. Force majeure can always happen — when it does, we solve it as fast as possible.

Yes, outdoor use works well. It just needs to be out of direct sun, under cover, and no rain forecast.

The booth itself is 60cm tall, 40cm wide and 40cm deep. On the tripod it stands about 180cm tall and takes up roughly 1x1m of floor space.

We always try to resolve it as fast as possible. If the defect was caused by the customer we charge repair costs — but since we build the booths ourselves, that's usually limited. For unexplained defects we take full responsibility.

Thanks to the fast equipment the throughput is high — on average one session per minute including printing.

Do you need a power outlet? How many amps?

Yes, one outlet. No special requirements — the booth uses less power than an average Nespresso machine. Around 500 watts or 2.5 amps.

We use Canon mirrorless cameras with good lenses. The booth has a computer with a strong graphics card, so you see your poses live without lag. We work exclusively with the newest DNP printers for the highest quality and reliability.

Really, the only thing that can go wrong is a paper jam. Since we use the newest printers and replace any printer that has repeat issues, this rarely happens.

You can do two setups: booth against the wall using the room as backdrop (good for big groups and photo-bombs), or booth more in the room using the wall as backdrop (better for small groups or near the entrance).

Yes — above 70% humidity or below 10°C the printer won't work. That's a general limit for all photo-booth printers. We almost never hit it at normal venues.

Yes — the booth has a fast cycle of max 1 minute per session. For 300+ guests we'd recommend a second booth so everyone gets a turn.
